A professionally developed release strategy with defined campaign oversight for independent artists preparing to take new music to market.
[APPLY FOR THE ROLLOUT]
You finished the record.
Now what?
Upload it to your distributor.
Post the cover.
Announce the date.
Drop the song.
Share the streaming link.
And then?
Too many independent releases are treated like isolated events rather than campaigns.
The music arrives, receives a burst of promotion, and disappears as attention shifts toward the next release.
The Rollout is designed to change that.
BEMYOWNBOSS works with you to build a strategic campaign around your release—before it arrives, while it's launching, and after release day.
A strong release campaign should connect your music to a larger objective.
That might mean:
Introducing your artist identity to a new audience
Deepening engagement with an existing audience
Building momentum toward an EP or album
Growing an owned audience
Strengthening your streaming audience
Testing a new market
Establishing a more consistent release system
Creating measurable audience-development activity
Learning what actually resonates before your next release
Before deciding what tactics to use, we determine what the release is supposed to accomplish.
Before release day, we'll establish the strategic framework surrounding your campaign.
Depending on your project, this may include:
Campaign objectives
Audience direction
Release positioning
Messaging
Content direction
DSP preparation
Asset deadlines
Marketing-channel priorities
Promotional sequencing
Budget allocation
KPI selection
The goal is to make release day part of the campaign—not the beginning of your planning.
Release week connects your preparation to audience action.
Your strategy may address:
Release messaging
Content sequencing
Fan/community activation
DSP activity
Email communication
Collaborator amplification
Paid-media direction
Audience engagement
Conversion opportunities
The objective isn't simply to announce that the music exists.
It's to give your audience reasons to listen, engage, remember, and stay connected.
The campaign doesn't automatically end when release week does.
Post-release strategy may include:
Secondary content
Song storytelling
Audience engagement
Performance analysis
Retargeting opportunities
Additional promotional angles
Campaign optimization
Transition into the next release or project milestone
The data generated by one release should help make the next release smarter.
Before campaign development begins, we'll review the key elements surrounding your release.
This may include:
Release status
Master readiness
Artwork status
Distribution preparation
Credits and metadata
Ownership/split readiness
Available promotional assets
Current artist platforms
Campaign resources
Marketing budget
Release timeline
Significant unresolved issues may need to be addressed before The Rollout can begin.
We'll establish the strategic direction for your campaign, including:
Primary campaign objective
Target audience
Release positioning
Messaging
Priority marketing channels
Available resources
Budget priorities
Content direction
KPIs
Campaign timeline
This becomes the foundation for your Rollout.
You'll receive a customized campaign roadmap organizing activity across the appropriate pre-release, release, and post-release periods.
The roadmap identifies:
What should happen.
When it should happen.
What purpose it serves.
What needs to be ready first.
What should be measured.
Campaign length and sequencing may vary based on the project.
Content shouldn't exist simply because an algorithm expects you to post.
It should support the campaign.
Your Rollout includes strategic content direction for approximately 30 days of campaign activity.
Depending on the release, content themes may address:
Artist story
Song story
Behind-the-scenes material
Creative process
Audience participation
Release anticipation
Release-day messaging
Performance/content moments
Post-release storytelling
Calls to action
Content direction is included. Content production is not.
Unless separately contracted, the artist is responsible for filming, photographing, designing, editing, and publishing campaign content.
Your Rollout may include recommendations concerning:
Artist-profile readiness
Release metadata
DSP presentation
Release-link strategy
Pitching preparation
Profile optimization opportunities
Post-release monitoring
BEMYOWNBOSS does not guarantee editorial or third-party playlist placement.
Where appropriate, your campaign may include recommendations concerning:
Organic marketing
Social platforms
Audience activation
Paid-media objectives
Budget allocation
Retargeting opportunities
Campaign measurement
If BEMYOWNBOSS is contracted to build, manage, monitor, or optimize paid-media campaigns, those services are quoted separately.
Paid Media Management starts at $500 per campaign plus advertising spend.
The Rollout includes two 30-minute campaign check-ins.
These meetings are used to:
Review campaign progress
Identify obstacles
Examine early signals
Address strategic questions
Make reasonable adjustments within the existing campaign scope
Additional meetings or consulting may be purchased separately, subject to availability.
After sufficient post-release data is available, we'll examine relevant campaign performance.
Depending on available data, this may include:
Streaming activity
Saves
Audience growth
Content engagement
Website activity
Email growth
Advertising performance
Other campaign-specific KPIs
Then we'll answer three questions:
The goal isn't simply to report numbers.
It's to make the next decision better.
Your engagement includes:
Release-readiness review
60-minute campaign strategy session
Campaign objectives
Release positioning and messaging
Audience strategy
6–8 week campaign roadmap
Pre-release strategy
Release-week strategy
Post-release strategy
30-day content direction calendar
DSP strategy/checklist
Marketing-channel strategy
Budget-allocation recommendations
KPI framework
Two 30-minute campaign check-ins
Defined strategic campaign oversight
Post-release performance review
Final campaign findings and recommendations
Unless separately contracted, The Rollout does not include:
Advertising spend
Daily social-media management
Content filming
Photography
Video production/editing
Graphic design
Publicist services
Mass media outreach
Guaranteed playlist placement
Influencer/creator fees
Distribution fees
Website development
Unlimited revisions
Unlimited meetings
24/7 communication
Artist management
Legal representation
Financial/accounting services
If your campaign requires additional professional services, we'll identify them separately rather than quietly expanding the original scope.
The Rollout works best when the music and basic release infrastructure are sufficiently developed.
Before accepting the engagement, BEMYOWNBOSS will consider factors such as:
Is the release sufficiently complete to build a campaign around?
Are major ownership, split, and credit questions sufficiently resolved?
Is there enough time to responsibly prepare the campaign?
Are necessary visual and promotional assets available—or realistically scheduled?
Is there a viable distribution plan?
Does the proposed campaign align with the artist's available time and budget?
Does the artist understand what BEMYOWNBOSS can and cannot reasonably promise?
If significant foundational issues exist, we may recommend addressing those issues before beginning The Rollout.
The Blueprint and The Rollout serve different purposes.
Develops your broader 90-day artist-development strategy.
Develops and oversees the strategy surrounding a specific release campaign.
An artist with a strong existing foundation may be ready to move directly into The Rollout.
An artist whose career infrastructure still requires substantial development may benefit from The Blueprint first.
Completing The Blueprint does not automatically guarantee acceptance into The Rollout.
Because accepting your payment before determining whether we're capable of serving your release responsibly doesn't benefit either of us.
The application helps us determine:
Whether your project is ready
Whether the proposed timeline is realistic
Whether the scope fits The Rollout
Whether BEMYOWNBOSS has campaign capacity
Whether another service or resource would better fit your situation
And submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
The Rollout may be a strong fit if you:
Have release-ready or nearly release-ready music
Are preparing a single, EP, or qualifying music project
Want more than release-day promotion
Need a structured campaign
Want your marketing activity connected to measurable objectives
Have the capacity to create or provide campaign assets
Have realistic expectations about music marketing
Are prepared to participate actively in the campaign
Want to learn from performance data after release
You:
Haven't finished the music
Have unresolved ownership disputes
Need immediate emergency promotion for a release happening in a few days
Expect guaranteed streams or playlist placements
Expect BEMYOWNBOSS to create every campaign asset
Want full artist management
Want someone else to operate your entire career
Are unwilling to participate in campaign execution
Don't currently have the resources necessary for the proposed campaign
Sometimes the responsible answer is:
Not yet.
That doesn't mean the project lacks potential.
It means the foundation needs attention before additional money is spent marketing it.
Because this is a larger project engagement, payment is structured in milestones.
$700
Due when the engagement is accepted and booked.
$525
Due at the agreed midpoint.
$525
Due according to the service agreement before final completion/delivery.
Third-party costs and approved add-on services are separate.

Referred to another appropriate resource
Advised that BEMYOWNBOSS isn't the right fit for the project
Once the agreement and initial payment are completed, campaign onboarding begins.
You've already invested in creating the music.
